Whether you like it or not people always judge you. People judge the way you look, the way you talk and many other things that you do give information about you, your education, your values.

Image and Self Esteem: Understanding How Your Image Can Impact The Way You Feel about Yourself and What Others Think About you

they way we look might not be the same image other people have about uswhat we think about ourselves is not what it really is what you see about yourself is not what others can tell about youImage and Self Esteem are very closely related. The way we look (our image) has a great impact in our lives and in our self-esteem.

Questions to ask about your image?

There are a few questions that you may try to answer to understand how it can be different what you see about yourself, what you would like people to think about you and what you are really telling about yourself to the world:

How do you see yourself?
What do you think about yourself?
How comfortable you feel about being you?
Do you like the way you look?
Are you happy with what the other people can see from you?
What are you saying with the way you look?
What message are you sending to people with your appearance?
Do you have your own style or you are just trying to be someone else that is not who you really are?

Understanding the different images that we have

Let’s understand what our image is and how important it is.

I can say that there is 3 different types of images.

1. What is in our mind of who we are and how we look.
It can be that in your mind your image is completely different to what it really is. We have created images of who we are that might not be true anymore. We tend to create an image of ourselves and keep that image in our minds for many years so we think we look the same way as we did 10 years ago.

We also like to stick labels to our image and it is hard to get rid of them.

we may not look the way we think
self esteem: feel good about yourself

While searching for the images that would help us to clarify this point I discovered that there is a whole theory about it.

2. What people can see from us.

Our image tells a lot of different things about ourselves to people. What people think about you is different to what people can see about you. There are many things about you that give information to people of who you are.
3. How we would like to be.

Have you seen a photo of yourself and feel that is not you, that it cannot be you because you are not that ‘fat’, ‘dark’, ‘ugly’.

Understanding Plastic Surgery: Plastic Sugery Explained

Plastic Surgery is the reconstruction of various parts of the body through a surgical operation. This surgical operation is valued by people who seek to remove birth defects, defects due to disease, burns, and other cosmetic reasons.

before and after plastic surgery

A plastic surgeon
is a surgeon who must specialize in plastic surgery. These plastic surgeons must go through over eleven years of school, residency requirement, internships, and much more.

Then, they still have to have two years of real practice before they become board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. When they become board certified they reach the Gold standard in the plastic surgery profession.

A plastic surgeon who has been board certified is one of the best plastic surgeons available. This is a huge reassurance to the public.

Plastic surgery is generally used to improve the way a person looks. This surgery has resulted in increase self confidence and self-esteem.

In turn, increased self confidence and self-esteem help a person develop new attitudes and abilities to succeed. Plastic surgery affects much more than the human body by altering emotional health for the better.

The most common plastic surgery procedures include Breast Augmentation
, Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck), Liposuction for Body Lifts, Arm Lifts, etc., facial surgeries such as Face Lifts and Rhinoplasty
, as well as nonsurgical procedures like Botox injections.

New methods and procedures are constantly being developed and implemented. Plastic surgery is implementing the use of the most modern laser technology available.

As with all surgeries, there are risks involved with the process. The use of lasers results in less risk of infection, complications, and lower hospital and recovery times because they are self-cauterizing.

However, a properly trained and certified plastic surgeon can minimize these risks. Before committing to a plastic surgery procedure, be sure to ask the surgeon if he or she is a surgeon who was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons.

The surgeon will be assisted by a variety of nursing personnel including the anesthesiologist, the recovery room personnel, and technicians. Consider asking about their qualifications.

To ease apprehension about an upcoming surgery, ask where the surgery will be performed and adapt yourself to the idea. Very few of the plastic surgery procedures can be performed at the surgeon’s office.

Most surgeries will take place at the hospital or surgical care center. Consider asking about the facilities and if they maintain the proper health standards and have the necessary certifications by the proper agencies.

It is also vital to become aware of the possible side effects, or risks, involved with the plastic surgery procedure. Potential risks include blood loss, infection, and scarring.

These things are generally very rare with today’s modern technology, but they do happen occasionally. If there are complications, it can mean additional surgery and fees to fix the side effects.

Some plastic surgeons have special insurance that will cover patients who face complications from surgery. Check to see if the surgeon you are thinking about will have this added support should things go wrong.

It is also extremely important know how long it will take for you to recover from the surgery. This will affect how much you can work or your participation in other activities.

One of the biggest questions is which type of anesthesia should be used. There are three main types of anesthesia that are typically used.

Local anesthesia has relatively low risks and is used during low risk and not very invasive office procedures. IV sedation, or “twilight sleep,” is a general or local anesthesia.

The risks associated with the other two types of anesthesia will be discussed with you by the surgeon. He or she will allow you to choose which type of anesthesia you would like best after he or she gives you a recommendation.

Asking these questions will help you be less anxious on operation day. Plastic surgery can greatly improve looks, self-esteem, and self-confidence.

How to chose a Cup size for a Breast Augmentation – Boob Job?

Are you confused with the size of your breast implants for your Boob Job?

We find what an expert says about it:

Are you beginning to plan on 300cc Implants? It is simply not as easy as going to the clinic and asking the surgeon for a B cup for example. How will you know if 300cc Implants is the right breast implant size for you? If you regret your breast implant size choice after the surgery the only way to correct it is through another breast augmentation operation. While in the past years you were limited to trying on breast implant sizers at the plastic surgeon’s office there has been a significant development in the industry to help you choose your breast implant sizes. The new Purlz Breast Sizing System allows you to experiment with a wide variety of implant sizes. Since Purlz look and feel natural you can wear them throughout the day without fear of detection. You can try these breast implant sizers on at home or even wear them to work. You can wear Purlz Breast Sizing System during virtually any normal daily activity. Just the experience of having different breast sizes while you work, shop, and play can help you decide what breast implant size you want. Avoid the leading mistake in breast augmentation surgery by using at-home breast implant sizers. With Purlz you can try a D cup one day and a C cup the next! Are you planning on using saline 300cc Implants or silicone? There are many benefits to each type of these breast implants. While silicone breast implants usually create a fuller cleavage saline implants offers smaller incisions, not to mention being about one thousand dollars less expensiv. Whether you choose saline 300cc Implants or silicone implants, you should try to spend a few days or even weeks wearing Purlz to decide on the appropriate size. Purlz breast implant sizers are not made of either saline or silicone, but rather are made of a soft micoweave fabric shell filled with tiny plastic beads. Fill each bag with a volume of rice similar to the breast implant sizes you are considering, for example 500cc of rice for a 500cc breast implant. Now place the bags of rice within a sports bra and stand in front of mirror to get a preview of what you might look like. After all, silicone and saline implants were designed to go inside your body, while Purlz were designed to go inside your bra! One of the interesting experiments to try with the Purlz Breast Sizing System is to take before and after pics of 300cc Implants while you wear them. Many plastic surgeons will ask you to look for before and after pictures of other women’s bodies, often to use in the surgery room while they are performing the procedure. Wouldn’t it be much better to have before and after pictures of 300cc Implants on your own body? Many surgeons will use photos like this during surgery to help them create the breast shape and size you are looking for.
